Baptized for Life: Daring to be Christian

Lisa Kimball
Director of the Center of Lifelong Christian Learning
Virginia Theological Seminary

November 10th – 9:30am to 2:30pm

November 11th - 9:00am Forum in Parish Hall

With a special focus on children, youth and young adult ministry, this one-day workshop will blend current research and timeless theological resources to inspire compelling faith communities that bring healing, hope, joy, and deepening faith to those who worship and those who lead. We will build on proven patterns and programs from the ancient wisdom of the catechumenate to recent findings about faith transmission. Activities will include assessing the needs and gifts within your faith community to name, claim, and feed a multigenerational and multicultural ecology for faith formation in your community. We teach who we are. Come be renewed so that what you offer others will change their lives.

Open to all.  No registration free.
