Knowing Good News: Proclaiming Good News
The Rev. Canon Scott Gunn
Executive Director, Forward Movement
Saturday, November 9th: 9:30am to 3:30pm
Sunday, November 10th at 8:00am and 10:00am
Presiding Bishop Michael Curry has focused the Episcopal Church on evangelism. Evangelism means to proclaim the Good News of God in Jesus Christ. How do we share this Good News? One challenge, research shows, is that many Episcopalians have not been formed as disciples of Jesus Christ and will struggle with sharing the Good News. You can’t share what you don’t have. So as we focus on evangelism, we also have to focus on forming Christians who know Jesus and who cannot wait to share the transforming grace they know.
